For many years our annual picnic has been in the rain. We are a hearty bunch and that didn’t sway most people into staying home. What’s a little cold rain and wind anyway. Well, this year we rented the Town of Thompsons indoor pavilion at East Mongaup River Park. By doing this, it ensures us to have a bright, sunny day! Either way, we will be comfortable this year.

East Mongaup River Park is also known as Town of Thompson Park. It is located between Hurleyville and Monticello at 181 Town Park Poad, Monticello NY 12701. [Google map link]

Gloria Wagenknecht is coordinating the food for the picnic. This year's main meal will be 1/2 of a rotisserie chicken (yes we will provide Ziploc bags to bring home what you don’t eat!). Since these have to be ordered in advance, we need your reservation.

Please respond to Gloria (845 747-9454) by June 20th to ensure that we will have enough to go around.

Gloria is also coordinating our side dishes. Please let her know what you would like to bring, or she will offer suggestions if certain foods are needed. As usual, there is always an assortment of great food and no one goes home hungry.
